What Teloki collects, and where it goes

Teloki records what you say and turns it into tasks and reminders. That means your voice leaves your phone. This page says exactly what is kept, who else sees it, and how to have it removed.
What is collected

There is no advertising, no tracking, and no analytics. The app contains no third-party software development kits of any kind.
Who else processes it
Teloki uses a small number of services to do its work. They process your data on our instruction and for no other purpose.

Your data is not sold, and is not shared with anyone else.
Live transcription on your phone
While you talk, the words that appear on screen are produced on the device itself and do not leave it. The separate, authoritative transcription happens on the server, as described above.
How long it is kept
Your items and threads are kept until you delete them or close your account. A capture you throw away on the review screen has its recording deleted immediately; the transcript is kept so that we can see where the reading went wrong. Recordings attached to a thread are kept as long as the thread.
People you add
When you add someone with an email address, Teloki sends them an invitation on your behalf. If they do not accept, that address is used for nothing else. Removing them from your people list removes the address.
Your choices
- Ask for a copy of everything held about you
- Ask for any of it to be corrected
- Ask for your account and everything in it to be deleted, which is done within seven days
- Turn off notifications in the app, or microphone access in iOS Settings

Children
Teloki is not directed at children under 13 and is not knowingly used by them.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date above changes and you will be told in the app before the change takes effect.
